  Pink amethyst is a fairly new discovery from Southern Brazil and is considered rare. It is a variant of amethyst that gets it colors from hematite inclusions. The pattern and color variations can range from a soft-hue of off-white to creams, lilac to amethyst purples, to a spanning range of pink to a deeper-toned sometimes even peachy-red-pink. Each piece full of its own unique characteristics.
