Charoite is a rare mineral that can only be found in one locality in the entire world, in the mountains of Siberia, Russia. Due to the striking appearance of Charoite, when first discovered there was speculation that it was fake, possibly dyed purple. But I assure you, it is not not. Charoite is 100% natural. Charoite is an amazing natural gemstone with extraordinarily pattern movement. At first glance you will think purple, but a closer look will reveal silky swirls of lilac, violet, and white, with patches of black, hints of brown, red and yellow tones. Each sphere displays its own unique shades of purple, banding, swirls and inclusions making every sphere truly one of a kind.
