Although the stone is named “Bumblebee Jasper,” it is not a true Jasper. It is an agate stone. Bumblebee Jasper is said to promote honesty, happiness and joy throughout the daily stress of one’s day. Helping one achieve their dreams. Each stone’s pattern is unique and no two are exactly alike. Bumblebee Jasper was recently discovered in the 1990’s and is a rare crystal. It is very difficult to acquire as the mine is located inside the active Papandayan Volcano located in West Java Province, Indonesia. This is the only locality and is yet to be discovered anywhere else and is not expected to be. The stone comes from a combination of minerals and volcanic matter. The yellow shade comes from high sulfar content, so it is always best to wash your hands after handling this stone.
